People in Common - Democracy in Action

The following gives voice to a lovely message and movement going on in London. Please enjoy this from my friend, Mark:

I think I'll go for a picnic next week end..

BTW, I think Mark is writing both Democratic consciousness and Democratic con (with in Spanish) sciousness (refers to consciousness separate from consciousness of self). At least I think that's what he's playing at.

But then, as soon as I think I know, I don't.

in a word, yes.

in a longer word:

Me i love rumi :-) in fact i think he can save western civilisation

"I've heard it said, there can be a window between two hearts. But if there's no wall, who needs a window"

Personally that's what I call 'sciousness' ; mindfulness - awareness of all the senses taste touch smell sight, sound and thought, as they arise and pass away, witnessing them, and being one with 'em, but somehow still staying above, just watching, but still connnected. not getting attached to them, yet being one with one them, all at the same.

am i repeating myself?

real freedom that! :-)
or, consciousness without the con?

Shhhhh..

Blake (as usual) puts it better:

He who binds himself, to a joy
Does the wing-ed life destroy
But he who kisses the joy, as it flies
lives in Eternity's Sunrise

happy new year

Why is it this stuff seems to always start overseas first?!

Reading Marks comments were illuminating and confusing all at the same time. Must go and ponder.

Thanks for sharing this!!

Hi Kathy,
You've pinpointed my response to seven years of friendship with Mark in two exact words.. The end result is always go and ponder.

I've found that most of the time it's worth it.
